Last fall we visited Dublin. We met very early in the morning at the airport and after checking in, our journey began. Two hours later we could already smell the air of Ireland.
Our host families welcomed us in their cute little houses and were very friendly. During our stay we gazed upon many beautiful monuments, streets and learned a lot about the history of Ireland. We were stunned by the spectacular nature, the sea and the cliffs at Howth. One evening we found ourselves in a special building. It was a dance school where we learned some steps of Irish dance and listened to the live sound of traditional Irish music.
The daytrip to Glendalough, where we could also admire the beautiful nature of the country, marked the highlight of our trip.
Even though we won’t miss the food, Ireland will always have a special place in our hearts.
